LOFTY COASTLINE

The lonely isles of the Lofty Coastline make up the outermost ring of the gas giant planet Maar. Once a popular intergalactic tourist destination, this archipelago is linked together with the Grand Coast Highway, a road that is still largely intact even after the impacts of the Giant Swells 50 years ago.

The settlements on this ring are small and sparse, with vast distances between the towns and provinces. Traversing the Coastline on foot or by car has become increasingly dangerous due to rogue waves overwhelming the areas that have not been walled off with protective fields.

And yet, both wanderlust and necessity push the bravest travelers into the unknown….
